Importance of Basic Weight Loss Education

In this video, Suresh and Dr Jasvin address why basic weight loss education is so essential for long-term sustainable weight loss. Ignorance  is not bliss, when it comes to weight loss. People who are ignorant about fundamental weight loss knowledge, end up trying one diet and quick fix solution after another. They spend all their lives chasing for that one elusive weight loss solution that will allow them to lose weight over night.

Hello this is Suresh and Dr Jasvin from the Correct Weight Loss team.

Today we are going to talk about the importance of basic weight loss education. Education makes us aware that weight loss is not going to happen in overnight. There are no short cuts. Once you are educated, you have realistic goals. You don’t have unrealistic goals. You are not just following your emotions wanting to look good in a pair of jeans or wanting to look good in a bikini within 2 weeks. These are unrealistic goals. The body cannot change that fast.

When you have realistic goals, you become more patient. Being more aware makes you naturally patient. I (Suresh) am a very impatient person but because I (Suresh) know basic weight loss information, I (Suresh) effortlessly become more patient. I (Suresh) know what is a silly unrealistic target.

People take 30 years to get where they are and they want to lose it in a week. Even if you do succeed in doing so, chances are very high that the weight is going to bounce back. The loss is very likely all water or muscles.

When you do it the correct way, there is a certain time that is required to slowly burn the fat off while retaining your muscles. The weight loss is sustainable. You get a nice curvier or muscular body depending on whether you are a lady or a man.

That is why weight loss education is so important. The deeper I (Suresh) went into weight loss science, the more excited I got. I also knew about the finer areas that I was doing wrong. When I corrected these mistakes, I got better results. The body adapts. With basic weight loss education, you know how to keep on moving ahead of the adaptation mechanism of the body.

You don’t have to be a weight loss expert to lose weight. You just need to know enough such that you are able to discern between what works and what does not. If you want to work smart and get results, get into a program or an education system that teaches you at least the way your body manages fat. The Correct Weight Loss Blog is one place where you could go to learn about most of the basics that anyone will need.

The information in the Correct Weight Loss Blog is a good starting point for people to learn basic weight loss knowledge. They will be able to recognize the correct ways to lose weight. Immediately when something false or a quick fix solution comes along, they know that it is in defiance of certain fundamental laws. It is like Newton’s law of gravity. Anything dropped accelerates at 9.8 m/s2. You know that it is ridiculous when someone says that they can accelerate an apple faster at 20 m/s2. You cannot defy fundamental natural laws.

You need 15 minutes a day of reading. This is a good starting point. Some people have never read for a long time. Reading disciplines the mind and teaches you how to learn. If you want to lose weight, it is only natural that you learn something about  it. The same goes for losing weight.

Whatever you have learned during the weight loss phase, becomes a part of your subconscious programming. Even after you have achieved your target weight, you can sustain the results while being on a normal lifestyle. This is because you know what to avoid and what to do. It is like giving someone fish as compared to teaching someone to fish. Give someone to fish and he only eats for a day. Give someone fish and he eats for a lifetime.
