People Start Dying After 40
Most people are concerned about dying. They want to live as long as possible. Medical science has had many breakthroughs that have allowed humans to live long beyond what our ancestors could have only dreamed of. Life expectancy keeps increasing. Life quantity is increasing but what about life quality.
People Start Dying After 40
Sadly, most people start dying after the age of 40. People undergo the process of dying for 30 to 40 years. After dying for 40 years, people finally die at the age of 70 or 80. This may seem like an odd revelation but it is true. We live in times where the major killers of the human race are lifestyle diseases.
After the age of 40, people start getting diabetes and high blood pressure. This is the age when metabolic syndrome becomes most prevalent. Other complications after the age of 40 include heart disease, arthritis, cancer and the like.
Medical Science Can Prolong the Dying
Medical science has been very effective at prolonging dying. Bypass surgeries have been invented to get around blocked arteries. Medication is available that is able to control diabetes or high blood pressure. With the help of modern medicine, people can extend their lives even though they are not in the best of health.
Are We Adding Years to Our Life
We are so focused to adding years to our lives that we forget about adding life to our years. The process of dying does not have to start at the age of 40. We need to take responsibility of our health. No one else cares. A healthy mind, healthy nutrition and exercise is the best way of adding life to your years.
Adding life to your years means to be able to be healthy in your old age. Old age does not necessarily have to equate to suffering and disease. Adding life to your years means being mobile in your old age. It also means having the strength, energy and vitality to enjoy living to the fullest.
Take Responsibility for Your Life
Do not start the dying process after 40. All it takes is to take responsibility for your life. Embrace exercise. Keep your mind healthy. Be aware of your eating habits and eat healthy. Live to the fullest in your lifetime. Focus on adding life to your years. At the end of your life when it is time to go, you should be able to say, “I have lived to the fullest.”

That’s an interesting way of looking at it Paramjit.
Sadly, there are still too many people as young as in their twenties or even their teens that start the dying process sooner by smoking, taking drugs, excessive use of the drug alcohol, over eating junk food, and just not doing anything positive for their health.
Do you know of any major studies that show the rate of degeneration of someone that has exercised and followed a healthful diet most of their life compared to someone that did not exercise or watch what they ate? I think the specifics would be a big eye opener for many people to take action.

Thanks for your comment Aaron. Parents need to increase awareness among their kids. The habit of exercise and appreciating one’s body has to be instilled at a young age. One it comes to teens, it may already be a loss cause. It is quite difficult to get through to these people. These people have missed the boat. they probably have to wait until the age of 35 and above to have increased maturity to start thinking of their bodies again.
