Weight Loss Scams using Before and After Pictures
The need for a quick fix is so pervasive that one wonder’s if anything can be done about it. In these ultra modern times, everything is within a button’s reach. Instant noodles, instant riches, get rich quick schemes and instant weight loss. People fail to realize that when it comes to weight loss, fast is slow and slow is fast.
There is such a high demand for instant weight loss that its baffling. Weight loss scams and faulty products are emerging all over the place. Don’t blame this solely on the weight loss industry. There can only be supply if there is a demand. And there is a tremendous demand. I have seen very well educated and rational women become totally irrational by wanting to lose massive amounts of weight in a very short span of time. It probably took them some years to gain all the weight and they demand to lose it in a month. These are just the kind of people that fall for weight loss scams.
Before and After Pictures Weight Loss Scams
Before and after pictures are a powerful marketing magnet. Some of the people being featured in the after pictures may have lost weight via other means but are grabbed by unscrupulous marketers to advertise their products. Before and after pictures can cause you to throw away logic and make very emotional decisions.
Then you have all these herbal teas, diet pills, body vests and countless other weight loss scams that claim to be able to transform you faster than Optimus Prime can say “Autobots transform”.
If Oprah with all the resources at her disposal has not found the holy grail of Weight Loss, what credentials do you have to do so?
ABC Expose
ABC 20/20 News did an expose some years ago called “20/20 Investigates Diet Pill Ad’s : Diet Pills promise Rapid Weight Loss, with faulty tactics”. You will never see before and after pictures the same way after reading these articles. And you better believe that this happens everywhere.
For now at least, let the ABC 20/20 expose sink in. When it comes to weight loss, slow is fast and fast is slow. Quick fix is not a fix for anything!
Once and for all, lose weight correctly!

man, I’m glad there are people like you out there letting us know about the absolute CRAP out there and the scam artists selling it. There should be an automatic jail term for ANYONE selling this kind of scam to an unsuspecting or just plain uneducated (in this subject matter) public… individuals, companies, I don’t care, just lock them up.
that’s just my two cents anyway. thanks for a great post.

There are so many fake before and after pictures for weight loss. I just found one the other day which was photoshopped in such a bad way. It was totally obvious that they had taken the same picture of a skinny model and pasted her head on a fat body. It’s so sad and it should be illegal if it’s not already. People believe that stuff is real.
