Journey of Weight Loss – Week 2
This article follows up on my 10 week article series on my weight loss journey. I have shared with you the Journey of Weight Loss week 1 last week.
This week I have lost 1 pound. However, I must admit that the week did not start well and I did have some challenges especially with food at the beginning of the week. The cravings were amazing. Toward the end of the week, I felt better and I think I have made a positive change in my diet. Eliminating sugar is one of the main things.
Exercise was alright. I had 3 great sessions and have another session planned for tomorrow. Next week will definitely be better than this week.
This week has actually taught me exactly how important it is to have someone to motivate you when you are trying to get started on a program. I really was on a downward spiral at the beginning of the week and was feeling quite depressed. Just the inability on my part to start myself on the right path was distressing to say the least. I almost felt like I was losing control of myself. Trust me, it is terrible to feel like that. It is exactly at that point when I needed someone to give me a hand up and nudge me in the right direction.
On the positives, I have started to feel lighter( slightly). Well, at least, not so bloated! The best part is that my hair has actually started dropping less. I think , though, that is attributed to less outside food. The amount of MSG(Monosodium Glutamate) in the food here is simply amazing! It seems that most restaurants are unable to cook without MSG.
Well, that’s my overview for the week. I am positive next week will be better. Looking forward to sharing with you next week.
