The First Lady

The First Lady

Michelle Obama has recently been seen in shorts with toned, shapely legs. Frequently she wears sleeveless dresses which shows off her toned, much talked about arms. In fact, her recent pictures have shown her to be looking fitter and more fabulous than ever.

Along with being the First Lady, Michelle Obama has found time to maintain a strict regime at the gym. She is frequently there at 4.30am with a friend and works out for 90 minutes 3 or 4 times a week. This is, of course, in addition to a good nutrition schedule. In her Interview With Oprah, she explained that keeping to a good diet and fitness regime is not only important to her, but it also sets a good example to her kids. I personally found this interview very inspiring.

I guess for some of us who have been wishing there was an easier way, this is a disappointment. But for others who have been down the good diet and fitness regime path, this piece of news strengthens the belief that this is the correct way. At the same time, it negates all our excuses, especially ” I don’t have the time”! If  America’s First Lady can start her exercise at 4.30am, I am sure we can find 45 minutes 3 times a week too.

Her husband, the president of the United States, must also be admired for his ability to find time for exercise even with his very tight schedule.  We covered this in an earlier article entitled, “President Obama Finds Time for Exercise, What’s Your Excuse – Part 1 and Part 2“.
