Journey Of Weight Loss, Part 3

|

Its been a long time since I have shared about my experiences in the Journey of weight loss. I must confess though that it has been very bumpy 2 month journey indeed. I had a nice mid March vacation to India during which time I had told myself that I would not exercise. I am not quite sure how that prolonged into 2 months but in more lucid moments, I remember justifying it with mumbles of “I’ll start next week” and “I don’t feel so well”. The latest excuse was that I hurt my back (which I really did!). But that’s ok now, so I guess I need to jump right back into the bandwagon of exercise and healthy eating. (Have I mentioned before that I do not really like exercise?)

Well then, that explains my sharing on Facebook.. ‘Today is the first day of the rest of my life’. That means I get to forget the last 2 months and ignore the distinctly flabbier thighs that I have invariably ended up with. Not to mention my husband’s knowing nods and prods in the morning while he is trying, pretty much unsuccessfully, to throw me out of bed. Poor guy! Really appreciate his efforts, though!

So, I am making a declaration on the blog that I will promise to start again on my exercise and healthy diet regime. Mostly coz I feel really guilty and  kinda bigger around the thighs and waist.

Next week is the time…. after all I am just recovering from my bad back, right?

  1. What I have learned from experience is that there is always some excuse not to do it and you just got to set that aside…every single time…sometimes its about as much work as exercising itself.
