Why The Trinity of Understanding is Important for Correct Weight Loss
My 8 year old was learning about the 7 learning styles a few weeks ago and I was helping her with some online research. The learning styles include Visual/Spatial , Verbal/Linguistic, Logical/Mathematical, Bodily/Kinesthetic, Musical/Rhythmic, Interpersonal Intelligence, Intrapersonal Intelligence. My take on the above is these learning styles are derived from the 3 basic learning styles which are mental, emotional & physical. The way these 3 basic learning styles mix and match is unique to each individual and the 7 learning styles is a generalization commonly seen in the population.
So what has learning styles got to do with Correct Weight Loss? Well it has everything to do with the way we understand our environment & ourselves. And understanding our environment and ourselves is the key to sustained results from Correct Weight Loss.
Each of us begin our understanding process via one primary or dominant path and reach the peak of understanding when we understand totally which is mentally, emotionally & physically.
For example if someone is mentally dominant, unless the understanding begins with something the mind can comprehend, he/she will not naturally / effortlessly start the journey towards emotionally & physically or totally understanding the subject matter. The same is the case with someone who is emotionally dominant, unless the understanding begins with something that the heart can feel, he/she will not naturally / effortlessly start the journey towards mentally & physically or totally understanding the subject matter. If someone is physically dominant, unless the understanding begins with some type of activity the body can do, he/she will not naturally / effortlessly start the journey towards mentally & emotionally or totally understanding the subject matter.
Fortunately since we are typically a mixture of this trinity of understanding, we can force to begin our understanding via our secondary approach to understanding but it is an effort and usually does not lead to peak or total understanding. This type of forced or partial understanding may be acceptable for informational comprehension but usually not adequate for transformational comprehension which is the key to sustained results with Correct Weight Loss.
