Dropping Weight…… And keeping It Off

Weight scales - Courtesy of stock.xchng (by Nubuck)You may not believe it but losing weight is easy. Losing fat is more challenging. Losing fat while maintaining your muscles is even more challenging. Losing fat while building muscles is unbelievably difficult.

So why do I say losing weight is easy. Well for one thing, you could stop drinking water or take a diuretic. Your body will excrete water and the loss of water will show as a deficit on the scales. “That’s dumb”, you may say. But believe it or not, people actually pay big money to be steamed in saunas only to be shown after that they have lost weight.

Losing weight is not as impressive as losing weight and keeping it off. This is where all the dieters get caught. If it was done correctly, the weight loss would have all been attributed to fat loss. You would have been able to maintain your muscle mass. Correct weight loss is sustainable weight loss.
